Instructions

  1. 1

Classic: juice the lemons until you have 1 cup of fresh juice. Strain out the pulp and seeds if you like it smooth.

  2. 2

Stir the sugar into the lemon juice until fully dissolved, then add the cold water and chill.

  3. 3

Frosted: blend 1 cup of the classic lemonade with 3 cups of vanilla ice cream until thick and creamy, about 30 seconds.

  4. 4

Strawberry: blend 1 cup of the classic lemonade with 1 cup of thawed frozen strawberries until smooth, then pour over ice.

  5. 5

Serve the classic and strawberry over ice; the frosted goes straight into a glass with a straw.

Pro Tips

  • 💡Fresh-squeezed lemon juice is the whole secret — bottled juice tastes flat next to the real thing.
  • 💡Make a big batch of the classic base, then split it for the frosted and strawberry whenever a craving hits.
